Merupakan tarian yang digelar dalam acara-acara di Kedaton Kutai Kartanegara, seperti acara Erau, upacara adat penabalan Sultan, penabalan Sultan yang baru, pernikahan putra-putri Sultan, dan penyambutan tamu. Tari Ganjar Ganjur merupakan akulturasi kebudayaan Kutai-Jawa yang berbaur sejak berinteraksinya Kerajaan Kutai Kartanegara dengan Kerajaan Majapahit pada masa pemerintahan Maharaja Sultan (1370-1420 M). Lewat interaksi tersebut, kebudayaan dari Kerajaan Majapahit masuk dan berbaur dengan kebudayaan Kutai. Salah satu hasil akulturasi kebudayaan tersebut adalah Tari Ganjur. Sisi akulturasi kebudayaan pada pementasan Tari Ganjar Ganjur terlihat pada instrument alat musik yang digunakan. Tari Ganjar Ganjur ditarikan dengan iringan instrument gamelan yang terdiri dari demung, saron, bonang, gender, dan kendang yang sama persis dengan instrument gamelan di Jawa. Tari Ganjar Ganjur ditarikan oleh kerabat Kesultanan Kutai Kartanegara. Penari Ganjur berjumlah empat orang, dua pria dan dua wanita. Penari pria disebut "Beganjar" wanita disebut "Beganjur". Penari pria mengenakan kostum yang disebut "Miskat" untuk bagian atas (baju) dan "Dodot" untuk bagian bawah (celana". Sedangkan untuk penari wanita mengenakan kostum yang dinamakan "ta'wo" untuk bagian atas (baju) dan Tapik" untuk bagian bawah. Ketika menari, masing-masing penari membawa aksesoris tari.
