Hi, does someone know or have an evidence if the writer ist the same person who won the Cadre world championships 1908, 1911, 1912 and 1913? I found pictures on BNF/Gallica from the billiards player, but no connection to the writer. It is probably the same person, as the years of birth and death are the same, and it was not uncommon at that time for billiard players to have regular jobs, such as Lucien Rérolle (lawyer), Charles Darantière ( writer, literary critic), etc. Unfortunately, my French is not good enough to check with the BNF.
